Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out whether SQ+4U Daily Devotional Book can improve the spiritual growth of children aged 10-15 years. Daily devotional book SQ+4U for age 10 to 15 is a devotional book published by Bandung Baptist Theology Seminary. The sale report, from June to Desember 2015 showed the growth from 600 examplars to 850 examplars or 42,5% increase. It mean that the devotional book has been read by 850 children and parents have put their that trust for the spiritual growth of the their children to the back. The research uses quantitative method non experimental research, with the design method of case study. The result is that: “thrught reading the daily devotional book X, children of age 10-15 age grow spiritualy”, because The book fulfill their desire from the front cover, the content, and the back cover, because it was according the psychological development theory.The devotional matterials educational objectives could change their behavior, because they can consist of texonomy Bloom’s that covered cognitive domain that incresed their knowlwdge to them spiritual. believe ot God and psycomotoric domain that helped apply them spiritual.The message educational is according to learning theory of stimulus respon that stimulate and control children in doing the spiritual activities.
