This study addresses the problem of modern interpretation, which tends to separate historical-grammatical readings from Christological readings, thereby reducing the Bible to a mere ancient document and obscuring its theological meaning. This study aims to conduct an exegetical analysis of Luke 24:44, examine the Christological hermeneutical model used by Jesus, and explain the theological implications of the concept of the fulfillment of Scripture. The method employed is a descriptive qualitative approach based on a literature review, integrating exegetical analysis of key phrases in the Greek text with hermeneutical approaches, biblical theology, and intertextual analysis of the Torah, the Prophets, and the Psalms. The results of the study show that Luke 24:44 is a key text that legitimizes Christological hermeneutics: Jesus appears as the authoritative interpreter who affirms that the Torah, the Prophets, and the Psalms constitute a unified testimony oriented toward fulfillment, which is found exclusively in His person and redemptive work. The novelty of this study lies in its integrative approach, which combines narrative exegesis, intertextual analysis, and Christological hermeneutics applied to Luke 24:44; a reconstruction of the understanding of the fulfillment of Scripture as Jesus’ hermeneutical paradigm; and the establishment of this text as the hermeneutical foundation for a canonical reading that is consistently centered on Christ as the fulfiller of the entire Scripture.
Abstrak
Penelitian ini berangkat dari problematika penafsiran modern yang cenderung memisahkan pembacaan historis-gramatikal dari pembacaan Kristologis, sehingga Alkitab direduksi menjadi sekadar dokumen kuno dan makna teologisnya menjadi kabur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Lukas 24:44 secara eksegetis, menelaah model hermeneutik Kristologis yang digunakan Yesus, serta menjelaskan implikasi teologis dari gagasan pemenuhan Kitab Suci. Metode yang dipakai adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif berbasis studi pustaka melalui pengintegrasian analisis eksegetis terhadap frasa-frasa kunci dalam teks Yunani, pendekatan hermeneutik, teologi biblika, dan analisis intertekstual terhadap Taurat, kitab para Nabi, dan Mazmur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Lukas 24:44 merupakan teks kunci yang melegitimasi hermeneutik Kristologis: Yesus tampil sebagai penafsir otoritatif yang menegaskan bahwa Taurat, kitab para Nabi, dan Mazmur merupakan satu kesatuan kesaksian yang berorientasi pada penggenapan dan menemukannya secara eksklusif dalam diri serta karya penebusan-Nya. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada pendekatan integratif yang menggabungkan eksegesis naratif, analisis intertekstual, dan hermeneutik Kristologis terhadap Lukas 24:44; rekonstruksi pemahaman tentang pemenuhan Kitab Suci sebagai paradigma hermeneutik Yesus; serta penetapan teks tersebut sebagai fondasi hermeneutis bagi pembacaan
