Menguak Kisah Runtuhnya Tembok Yerikho dalam Bingkai Pemaknaan Kaum Pentakostal

Abstract
The invasion carried out by the Israelites through Joshua's leadership to seize the land of Canaan was part of the fulfillment of God's promise to Abraham, where God had promised to give this land to his descendants. In fact, if you look at the geographical location of the land of Canaan in the context of a war strategy, the conquest of the city of Jericho apart from having the maximum impact on making it easier to control other territories, also gave a stern warning to all the enemies of the Israelites at that time. The selection of narrative qualitative methods as well as support from literature studies seeks to be able to provide a strong and structure picture regarding the reconstruction of the various events that preceded the fall of the Jericho wall, the story of the fall of the Jericho wall in Joshua 6, and the meaning of the Pentecostals from this story. In conclusion, for Pentecostals the story of the fall of the walls of Jericho is interpreted as the importance of believers having an understanding that God has a divine strategy in resolving every problem in life, praise is a divine tool that has power and is still very relevant for believers today, this story also teaches believers to always choose to live in obedience to God, as well as the importance of taking action as a step of faith.
